About Henley-on-Thames

Henley-on-Thames is an attractive, medieval market town, sitting on the banks of the River Thames, some 35 miles west of London.

Just a few strides from the riverbank is the very heart of Henley, with its historic church, town hall and market square. The town has a wide range of shops, including boutiques, galleries, speciality food shops and antiques emporia.

The town is also home to many businesses offering specialist products and services on a local, national and international basis.

The town’s natural attractiveness is enhanced by being easily reached by car, bus and train. The M4 and M40 motorway junctions are close and trains to London Paddington station run from the town, while the West Country and South Wales can be accessed via Reading.

It all adds up to Henley-on-Thames being a very attractive place in which to live and work as well as being an excellent destination for visitors from all over the world.
